Our Purpose:
To create an atmosphere that encourages spiritual growth with the ability to build strong
relationships with other women; to be an outreach that extends beyond the four walls of
our Church and reaches out to those in our local community; and to be strong Christian
mentors to the young women of our church by setting examples of faith, service, and
stewardship to them and others.

Women's Ministry News
Hello to all my wonderful sisters in Christ! We had some fun times last year and I
thank you all for your help and involvement. I look forward to watching us grow our
Women's Ministry by providing opportunities for us to fellowship and bond as a group, and
to reach out beyond our four walls and make an impact to other women in our community.
In 2007, we began a "Food Ministry" to provide meals when someone in our church had
surgery, an illness, or a death in their immediate family and I hope we can continue to
provide this to our brothers and sisters when needed. It's such a simple way to show
others we care.
We are planning some good things for 2011. In March will be our Secret Sisters Baby
Shower to benefit the Grace House in Deland, in May the Mother/Daughter Tea, just to
name a few. Check back often for update!
The Baby Shower was a huge success. Donna took a truck full of baby stuff to be
used for the moms and moms-to-be.
